Does the cost changes on change in group size?
Yes, The package cost depends on the number of traveling group members. Any amenity provided by the suppliers like transport, Hotel etc is quoted on the base of group size. Any fluctuation in the travel members (Both Increase or Decrease attracts change in group price quote). Like If 50 persons are sharing a 50 sitter bus, hiring cost of which is 50,000 Rs, the per person transportation cost will be Rs.1000 Pp. If the same bus is carrying 25 persons, per person transportation cost will be Rs.2000, which will lead to increase in total tour quote.
Why Advance Payment?
The travel industry is based on volatile commitments, which may change due to numerous unforeseen circumstances. All the suppliers therefore take full booking amount at the time of booking like transporters, hoteliers, air carriers, guides etc. After paying for these aminities, Shri shakti travels as a consolidator is left with negligible working margin. Hence we charge full payment in advance at the time of tour bookings.
Who decides the FOC in a group?
It varies from Tour to tour, depending on destination, Airline and hotel policy. However we can discuss on this subject if there are enough tour members for any said destination.
What about the tour cancellation cost?
The Group Fare are special and non refundable fares from airlines.
Hotel bookings will attract retention of 25% of Total tariff decided for the group booking, in case the group tour is cancelled before 15 days of actual travel date of the group.
What if the tour members want to take add-on services during the tour?
Yes they can avail for any Add-on service after paying for it to concerned supplier.
What about the food serving pattern during the tour?
Mostly the food is served on fixed menu laid in buffet system basis as it is convenient for group members and suppliers, but in below certain cases, the mode of serving differs;
1. In train travel, the food is taken either from pantry car our outsourced from local famous external caterer in form of Thali which is mix of balanced food like chapati, Rice, Dal, Salad, Pickle & some seasonal veg.
2. While traveling in the bus sometimes when the group is delayed to reach somewhere, we prefer to give them meals in Packed Thali from some famous cateter which is again in form of Mixed food.
3. Sometimes when both the options are not available like in foriegn tours, we given them the snacks foodie pack, which is sufficient in quantity, branded, nicely packed and is in paid budget frame.
4. At any point of time any tour member is free to buy any eatable from his own side/ cost, if he doesn't like our given food, or have some different choice of food.
